Meema

Founded in Guatemala by friends Alejandro Torun, Jason Turton, and Daniel Buchbinder, Meema began with a simple idea: to create beautifully made products from discarded denim waste sourced through The New Denim Project. What started with a set of kitchen towels, still one of the brand’s signature products, has since grown into a thoughtfully designed collection for the home.

Over time, Meema expanded beyond the United States into Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, while also reaching hundreds of independent shops, restaurants, and cafés. Today, as a certified B Corporation and Global Recycled Standard-certified brand, Meema continues to turn textile waste into beautiful, functional products made with sustainability in mind.
